Bray & Long to Sponsor Ronald McDonald House Charity Event

Charlotte, North Carolina – February 12, 2013 – Since being founded in April of 2003, Bray & Long has supported charities throughout the Charlotte region through volunteer efforts and sponsorship.  But when William Bray and Jeff Long began planning the law firm’s 10th anniversary celebration, they knew that they wanted something special in a charity partner.William Bray and Jeff Long

They found it in Girl’s Night Out, one of Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte’s signature annual events.  This year’s edition will be held at The Fillmore on April 25, 2013 and will feature networking, cocktails, a fashion show and silent auction, the proceeds of which will go to benefit the mission of Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte and its work with families whose children are receiving medical treatment at Charlotte area hospitals.

“We have always enjoyed working with creative minds and progressive ideas,” said William Bray.  “One tour of Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte convinced us that it was the right charitable partner for Bray & Long in that regard, and Girl’s Night Out is a great way to have some fun while raising money to support their important work for families and their hospitalized children.”

Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte is one of more than 300 Ronald McDonald Houses in operation worldwide.  It recently moved into a new facility on E. Morehead Street that is within walking distance of Carolinas Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital.  The organization relies on charitable donations and support from the community as well as corporations to provide families with a comfortable and supportive environment.

“We wouldn’t be able to exist without the support of businesses such as Bray & Long,” said Jenna Westbrook, Development and Communications Director for Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.  “We look forward to working with William and Jeff for the 2013 Girl’s Night Out, and beyond.”

Tickets for Girl’s Night Out begin at $60 per person.  For more information, visit Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte’s website at
