Robert Lack started with Bray & Long, PLLC, in May of 2017. As the firm’s newest Associate, Robert’s primary area of practice is focused on tax planning, estate planning, trusts and estates, corporate law, and M&A. Additionally, he has expertise in helping medical providers, as well as other professionals who operate within the medical industry, with OSHA and HIPAA compliance. Robert has the capability of partnering with clients from diverse backgrounds and is experienced in handling both business and personal legal matters simultaneously. This approach offers comprehensive legal consultation.
With a heavy focus on quality communication, Robert strives to ensure that he fully understands a client’s needs and recognizes that unique dynamics are typically at play in many areas of the law in which he works. He is a skilled listener and works to understand the client’s goals while also providing guidance and support when outlining individual options. Robert pays close attention to conveying associated risks, discussing possible benefits, developing main and alternative strategies, and then, executing accordingly. In every situation, it is important to Robert for him to understand and communicate expectations and timelines. He believes this helps his clients make informed and calculated decisions they can trust.
Prior to joining Bray & Long, Robert practiced law at both large and small firms and engaged in solo practice for two years.
Robert lives in Charlotte with his wife, Emily, and their two children. He loves reading books that are focused on science, human behavior, economics, physics, and neuroscience and is also happy to recommend his favorite podcasts. While he is an occasional golfer, Robert admits that he stopped keeping score a long time ago.
